Two weeks ago, snow began to blanket homes and Sam Houston State University’s hilly campus. The historic winter storm turned into a week of horror as rolling blackouts rippled through the state, leaving nearly 4.5 million Texans without power. In Huntsville, TX, temperatures dropped to the single digits which left residents vulnerable to freezing pipes and other tragedies.
Even though the days that followed the blackouts were not the best, students made the most of the snow before it got bad.
