Fair on the Square brings thousands of local residents and visitors to downtown Huntsville.
One of Huntsville’s annual free events, Fair on the Square, is scheduled to take place on Saturday in downtown.
The fair will feature approximately 400 booths showcasing arts, crafts, food and entertainment for guests to visit and support. The fair is advertised as fun for the whole family, featuring multiple events for both children and adults.
The event will take over all of downtown Huntsville, so there are two locations where patrons can park and take a shuttle to and from the event for free. These shuttles will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 pm.
First Location: Park at Bowers Stadium, Lot Z2-14, by the scoreboard, at 620 Bowers Blvd. Two shuttle buses are available: the First Baptist Church or the Northside Baptist Church Bus.
Second Location: Park at University Heights Baptist Church, located at 2400 Sycamore Avenue, and the Covenant Fellowship shuttle bus will transport you to downtown.
The fair features multiple attractions, including live music, wine tasting, a kids’ corner and a robust food court.
Fair on the Square is hosted by the Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce. The fair attracts thousands of visitors to the Walker County community, boosting the local tourism market.
