Dear Editor,
My name is Oscar Mccool and i don’t attend Sam Houston State University! I have heard good things from Heather Neilson, who i love very much! They reason i am writing you is that i have notcied that when some one tryies to be friendly to someone, even if they don’t know that person, people seem to get very angry. we should be friendly to our school mates. I don’t know if that is happening there but i am sure that it is happening to someone there.People should take the time to listen to someone. you could be the reason some one lives or dies. That person could be thinking of taking his or her life and just by taking the time to listen, you could show that person that he or she matters and that life is a very presious gift. we should be more than willing to listen and help people. People should also talk to people when they see them walking, if not but just to say hi and how are you doing today? I say hello to everyone i meet walkin by here on campus at Southern Arkansas University. It is a small college, so it is easy to talk to people but the point is that people should be more friendly and willing to help out other’s! Fraternities and soroties are great when they help with all of the many things they do to help the needy and helpless. Here in Magnolia there is not much the fraternities and sororiteis can sponser but things that do help the needy and helpless is sponcered by the Fraternites and sororites. The Tri Sigma’s are great people they do the most for people who need help and so do the Sigma Tau Gamma’s!people should be more like these people. Yea i agree that you don’t have to be in one to show that you care for other’s and that is what i am saying in a way, we should not just leave it up to them, we should show our support if not by donationg money to them for what they are supporting but by giving to the drive yourself. I just hope that this letter to the editor has made someone want to help out other’s who are in need of help!
