Sam Houston stretched its lead to double digits on multiple occasions in the second half, before holding off a late Kennesaw State rally in the final minutes.
Senior Po’Boigh King led the way for Bearkats with 23 points, while Damon Nicholas Jr. added 15 points. Both Jacob Walker and Vejko Ilic finished with 12 points.
