Rita B. Huff Humane Society of Walker County celebrated the opening of its new location with a grand opening last week. The no-kill animal shelter, which is now located at 1495 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Huntsville, states that its mission “is to preserve the lives and well being of animals through adoption, rescue, spaying and neutering, and education.”
